Pills and School. Can you think of anything worse?

So I really hate pills. Really, really hate pills. I can take ibuprofen just fine. But those pills I got after my ER trip, I couldn't handle them. I had them twice a day for 7 days. The first was went done fine. But then I had problems.

For 10 pills. I had to take 4 glasses of water just to swallow the stupid pill. So twice a day, that gives me 8 cups (8 oz) of water for the whole day. I almost never just drink water. I have a glass of milk/juice/pop/etc. with meals. And that's it. So I was suddenly getting 8 glasses of water a day. This sudden big increase of water intake caused me to pee like a pregnant racehorse. When I told my sister that, she told me it was too much info...but it was annoying me! I was awake 3 hours and I had to use the bathroom 4 times! It's ridiculous!

Now I have taken all of the pills. So I don't need 8 cups of water to take them. So I have a sudden decrease in water intake. So I was really thirsty all day. >.<

It's rather annoying.

I also just started school yesterday. I'll talk about it later. And I'm writing about it for Sparklife. I also wrote 3 other posts. One was rejected (I already had it on here). :( If the other ones get rejected too, I'll post them here.

So, yeah. That's it for now.

Au revoir. Je m'en vais.

My First Trip to the ER

So there is this dog that lives on the other end of the block. It's a little white dog. It is constantly running around loose. It barks nonstop. My sister and I named it Denis. As in Denis the Menace. It is the most annoying dog I have ever seen. But I never hated that dog. Until Yesterday.

My sister and I were walking to the library. The house with Denis is on the way to the library. Denis was tied up to a tree between the sidewalk and the road. Its leash reached the sidewalk. My sister was walking in front of me. She walked by the dog and nothing happened.

So what does this have to do with the ER?

Well, when I walked by Denis, He bit me. Twice. Before you freak out, it wasn't that bad. There was a small puncture wound on each of my legs. One of them started bleeding. This was on the way to the library. Since it was small wounds, we kept going to the library. We returned and renewed books. Then we left. We walked home. When we reached the house with Denis, I walked up on the grass in their yard to avoid the dog. I'll eagerly go up to a Saint Bernard and pet it, but I avoided that dog like the plague.

My sister and I walked into the house. She helped pour some peroxide on the cuts. Then she texted my mom to tell her. My mom called back. She started freaking out. She left work early. When she got home, she called the cops. Ten minutes later, the cop arrived. Ten minutes may not seem like a long time, but I live three blocks from the police department. What took the so long?

When he finally arrived, he looked at my leg where I was bit. We told him that we had no idea if the dog had had any shots. He wrote down our names and my mom's number, then went to the house where the dog lives. The dog is going to be impounded for ten days. The cop recommended that we got to the hospital.

That's when I started freaking out. I was thinking they would have to take a blood sample, or something to check for diseases or something. And I thought I would probably have to get rabies shots. So I'm freaking out because I'm thinking they will use a needle on me. I absolutely despise needles. They are one of the few thing's I'm afraid of.

So we get to the hospital. We wander around trying to find the right area. When we finally do, the lady at the desk gets my name, birthday, and medical information. She prints of a paper thingy and folds the laminated stuff over it. Then she put it around my wrist. It's one of those bracelets.

It had a bar code on it. When I saw it I really wanted to go to Walmart to use the price checkers. I wanted to see if it would come up with a price for me.

So then I go into the ER. The nurse there treats the wounds. Then the doctor comes in. He checks it. Say's it will fine as long as it doesn't get infected. He leaves and another nurse comes in. She gives me a prescription (my first prescription) for an antibacterial medicine. It's a pill that I have to take twice a day for seven days.

And it is a HUGE pill. The only pills I ever take are ibuprofen. That's the little red pill. the white one is my prescription. It's not fun to take those pills.

So as long as I keep taking my medication, it won't get infected. Then everything will be all right.

Yesterday was my first trip to the ER and my first time of getting a prescription. All because I wanted to go to the library.

Au revoir. Je m'en vais.
