It's completely unrelated...but who cares?
Now sit back and read the story about my life.
*cue story time music...is there even such a thing?*
Once upon a time, there was a guy. He grew up in Nebraska. Then he lived in western Iowa. He was kinda like a doctor. He saved lives daily. He also drove across the sate a lot...I don't know why, but it's important to the story. One time he was in eastern Iowa. He met a girl.
They fell in love.
August 1, 1992 they got married. July 27 the following year, their first baby was born. (me!) Now, 'cause I'm so amazingly awesome, their lives were filled with happiness. But wait! every story needs a villain. In this story, it is the insurance company. They claimed that I was a preexisting condition. (so my mom was pregnant before they were married) The insurance people refused to pay for me.
Stop right there!
*rewind*
August 1 is 5 days after July 27. So start at August 1...July 27 is 360 days later. So that's almost 12 months. 5 days short of 12 months. So that means my mom was pregnant for over 360 days! *gasp* I'm a mutant baby! (my parents really do call me that)
Run! It's mutant baby!
So my dad probably called them idiots...in not so nice words...he is not known for his diplomatic skills...
They got it all fixed, and the insurance paid for me.
*cue end-of-story-time-music*
That's my story. My life story. Until I was a couple of months old...
Au revoir. Je m'en vais.

Random note: two post's in one day! Yay me!
LOL Amar, that's a really funny story.:D
ReplyDeleteInsurance companies will do anything to avoid paying sometimes...
Hahaha, that's funny :D
ReplyDeleteyeah...I'm a mutant baby.
ReplyDeleteand people think my sister and I are twins. so my mom was pregnant for 11 months with me. then another 15 with my sister...a 26 month pregnancy...that should be a world record...
wait, for realzies? cuz that sh*t's crazy, yo.
ReplyDeleteunless they didn't actually conceive you on their wedding night. and there's no way they'd have proof either, because you don't start showing until much later.
ReplyDeleteWow, that's crazy! So, you were apparently in the womb for three months more than you were supposed to be...yay for mutantness! Silly insurance companies.
ReplyDeleteOn a completely unrelated note, I am the reason my mom has never given birth normally.
L. O. frikin. L. xD
ReplyDeleteMoney > Logic in many cases and in many places, sadly. :P
@anonymous
