Senior Pictures

So I am a senior this year. And I need to get senior pictures taken. I've been getting a bunch of mail from colleges and photography businesses. I saw the price. Um...yeah... $300 to get my picture taken then an additional $100 or more for the pictures themselves!? My parents didn't want to pay that much. So they suggested taking them instead of a professional. I wanted to do that anyway.

So I need to get them taken soon. If I'm gonna have outdoor pictures, I need to get it done in the next couple of weeks... Does anyone have suggestions? What are some poses that you like? Where would you suggest taking them?

I had planned on blogging about the funeral...there were a lot of car related problems...I might still do that. Probably. Maybe.

I think that's it for today.

*wants to go to bed*

*resists the urge to use the keyboard as a pillow* I don't think that would be very comfy...

Oh. Wait. I have a few new posts on my other blogs.
This has some stuff that I would like suggestions for.
Skillet music.

Au revoir. Je m'en vais.

  1. oh, senior pics were a pain for me too. your school lets you take them yourself? that's cool! if you want just a plain background you can always just throw up a big posterboard or plain-colored tablecloth onto a wall or something, but you have to make sure the lighting is even and adequete. For outdoors, any sort of nice scenery would do. Pick one you like! Again, watch the lighting, though outdoors most of it would come from the sun. Avoid using the flash if you can. It makes harsh lighting. (Sorry, thats the photographer me talking.) :)

And well, I'm not quite sure what I should say about the funeral, but I would feel bad to just ignore it too...:( :( :( did it make you feel just a little bit better, maybe? They're suppposed to be able to bring some closure to your feelings. How are you doing?
