Post Number 63

So I have had 62 posts before this one... more than I was expecting to have already...

And I have 27 followers, besides myself. 27 is my second favorite number. 10 is my favorite, because it's such a nice number. It mows the yard for it's neighbors, and it helps kittens that are stuck in trees--wait that's not what I meant. 10 is a nice number in math. You can easily multiply and divide by 10. And it's somewhat unique. The digits are neither prime nor composite.

But I know most people don't like math as much as I do...so I have a real post.

About pets. I have three.

I already posted this on my blog, but I don't have any other non-blurry ones of her...

The first is a dog. She is named Snickers. We didn't name her after a candy bar. I'll get to the naming in a moment. We got her at the pound. When my dad went outside to get his checkbook out of the car, she started jumping on the door, because she didn't want him to leave. We ended up saving her life. No one wanted her 'cause she wasn't a puppy. The people at the pound had kept her longer than they should have. She would have only been around for a few more days.

After we got her, we went to Dairy Queen. At the time, my dad always got the same thing. A Snickers blizzard. So my little sister decided to name her Snickers since we were at Dairy Queen at the time. We have had her for 10 years.

The next pet we got was a cat. My neighbors babysit. They always have a lot of little kids at their house. One day, they chased a kitten under our porch. We tried to get out for quite awhile. A week later, after 3 cans of tuna and a can of sardines, we finally got the cat out. One day, my sister was playing with the cat and told my dad it was a girl and he never checked. A few days later, we found out it was a boy. And we named him Snuggles. He has several nicknames. All of which have to deal with his size.

My most recent cat was another stray. We were sitting outside, and he just came up to us. Then we fed him. And he didn't leave. Now he is a permanent resident of our home. We named him Floppy. He just kinda flops over when you hold him. He is a cute adorable little pest. He ate my sister's homework the other day...

I think he looks like a loaf of bread. He just kinda curls up on the floor, and he looks like a loaf of homemade bread. Or a cinnamon roll. Or a long john. Or a scone. I seem to think he looks like pastries. I call him Salazar McMuffin. The Salazar part happened when we put the harness on him. He was slithering like a snake. I decided that "slithering" sounded like "Slytherin,"so I called him Salazar. :)

  2. aw, that's so cute! I think it's awesome that you're pets are all animals you've saved in one way or another. They're all a great part of the family. :D
